Honest Partners
Who we work with
🤝🏼Meet our partners
Welcome to the next phase of transparency in fashion! Over the last few months we've been working hard to take our transparency to the next level. Because sustainable fashion = a transparent supply chain.
Step 1 - meet the makers
Did you ever wonder who produces your Honest Basics? And why we work with our suppliers? Actually, we are very picky to make sure they are a good fit for our brand.
We value good partnerships and are very proud of the suppliers that we get to work with on a daily basis.
🌱 Team work makes the dream work
Instead of us doing the talking, we invited two of our new suppliers to tell us their story. They are both young, open-minded individuals that are poised to take-over their family businesses. They represent the new generation of Indian entrepreneurs that have sustainability at the forefront of what they do.
This page will grow in time and you will be able to deep dive into our processes and partnerships. Are you ready? Let's get going!
Get to know our partners in crime! 🥰
💚 How we choose our suppliers & partners
We're on a mission to make sustainable fashion accessible to everyone. We do that by keeping prices low, while paying everyone in the supply chain a fair compensation. We make quality basics that everyone has in their wardrobe. And we constantly keep improving the sustainability of our products and our supply chain. Sustainability is a journey and we are not yet at our destination.
The best about our journey is, that we don't have to tackle it all on our own. We have great partners and customers that support our path and make this whole dream of ours come true.
We are very picky with the companies and partners we work with. Our benchmark is that suppliers need to be as engaged with sustainability as we are. Do the suppliers and partners have the same vision as us? Do they treat their employees & partners with respect and love and are the materials sustainable as promised? These are questions that should be answered with a "YES!" - otherwise it will just not work out for us...
May we introduce to you...
🦸🏽♂️ ... Gobind Singh Pahwa from Kansin Group
"Every step that we take to more sustainability is going to better our lives and the future of this planet. This is why we aim to become more sustainable each day."
- Gobind Singh Pahwa
Gobind is part of a family driven business in India. To get to know him, the factory, but also his attitude towards sustainability better, we did a interview in the beginning of June 2021.
Find out why we chose to partner with Gobind and his family business and what makes working with him so special.

🦸🏽♂️ Gagan Juneja from Envogue Clothing
"Sustainability is actually quite basic. It means to do things in a manner, that you can enjoy it presently, while saving it for the future."
- Gagan Juneja
Gagan never planned to join the family business. He himself learned to be an engineer, studied abroad and was planning to head to America, when the oil market crashed. He was devastated, but his father had an idea...
Want to get to know what happened next? Stay tuned - we will tell his story and how we ended up as partners very soon.
